Biography
John has been a part of the AFS community since 2020. Formerly, he taught at Lakeside school in Seattle and Friends Seminary in NYC.
John’s favorite part about working in the AFS community: “I love that we’re a size that is big enough to have diverse perspectives and small enough to be able to build a sense of community that is school wide.”
What John finds meaningful in his profession: “If you pay close enough attention, there’s never a day that goes by where you don’t have the chance to help someone in a way that feels important.”
Fun fact about John: “I write a lot of depressing piano rock songs.”
John’s favorite spot on campus: “I love the little circle of stumps near the playground, such a peaceful place to sit.”
