Members of the AFS community who would like to gather in silent worship and peaceful sharing are invited to attend a called Meeting for Worship for AFS families at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 14, in the Meetinghouse.

“We hope to create a space momentarily free of partisan politics to connect to our larger values and collective hopes as a way forward for us as individuals and members of various communities. All are welcome,” wrote Rich Nourie, Head of School, in a message sent on Friday to AFS families.

He said that “many have expressed an appreciation this week for the AFS community as a source of connection and grounding after a long and challenging election season.”
