Diana Gru
Biography
Diana has been a part of the AFS community since the year 2000. Formerly she taught Spanish and Social Studies at a K-8.
Diana’s favorite part about working in the AFS community: “My favorite part is that students can be their best, most authentic selves at AFS.”
What Diana finds meaningful in her profession: “Our former students return and talk about their love of learning, about following their passions, about living a life of purpose. I love watching students go through our program-whether or not they start in lower, middle or upper-and develop their full potential. I feel honored to be a witness to a small part of that journey.”
Fun fact about Diana: “I did gymnastics as a child, and I was a very dedicated violin player at one point.”
Diana’s favorite spot on campus: “The pathway between the middle school and the meetinghouse.”
