Erin Timmer
Biography
Erin has been a part of the AFS community since 2004. Formerly, she worked for two years as an 8th Grade Civics and AVID teacher at Poe Middle School, one year as a 7th Grade Social Studies teacher at Germantown Settlement Charter School, and one year as a 10th Grade Global Studies teacher at Pennsbury High School.
Erin’s favorite part about working in the AFS community: “My colleagues and my students are the absolute best.”
What Erin finds meaningful in her profession: “I love seeing my students become adults that I can be friends with.”
Fun fact about Erin: “I’ve been to 24 countries on 4 continents (and counting!)”
Erin’s favorite spot on campus: “The sugar maple tree on the path on the way to the Meeting House when it’s in full fall bloom.”
