Biography

Joanna has been a part of the AFS community since 2013. Formerly, she worked in the Admissions Office at Swarthmore College for four years as Assistant Dean of Admissions.

Joanna’s favorite part about working in the AFS community: “Working with students!”

What Joanna finds most meaningful in her profession: “Helping students find their purpose and how figure out their next home after AFS”

Fun fact about Joanna: “I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for a year in my early 20s and got to travel throughout South America.  Something about me that lots of people know is that I’m from Cleveland originally!”

Joanna’s favorite spot on campus: “The College Guidance Office of course!  We have a cozy space with lots of info about colleges and lots of snacks.”
