Eighth grade students in theater classes  produced two one-act plays that they had written and stage-designed in the first semester. Middle School Theater Teacher Mary Carpenter told the 7^th and 8^th graders in the audience that the plays were not finished works. Still, they were full of puns and pratfalls that drew plenty of laughs. One play told the story of a man who was “possessed by a pizza.” The other was a modern adaptation of “Snow White” in which our heroine asks her trusty smartphone for information. “Siri, give me directions to happily ever after.” The answer? “Go 2.1 miles.”
