AFS Boys’ 800 Meter Sprint Medley Relay had a big weekend at the Temple University High School Relays event.

They managed to finish 5th overall, a mere 1.6 seconds behind the winners.
Their time of 1:37.69 ranks them 7th in the state of Pennsylvania in 2019, 1st among all Independent schools in Pennsylvania in 2019 and they broke the existing Friends Schools League record. They now rank 2nd all-time among PA Independent Schools in this event. Congrats to Jack, Taalib, Chase, Samo and their coach Kyle Rankin.

Other highlights from Saturday’s meet at Temple: Paige Osborne captured 5th place in the Girls’ 100 and CJ May took 6th in the Boys’ Shot Put.
