Alumni Journeys

By the time that AFS students graduate, they are well equipped to navigate the world and carve their own path. In this issue of Oak Leaves, we tell stories about the journeys that our students take upon leaving school. Wherever their paths lead, they remain forever bound to their time at AFS—by the friends they made, the values they cultivated, and the silent reflection they once shared in the Meetinghouse. These moments of quiet and kindness and meaning and purpose live on in their memories, permeate their lived experience and inform the work they choose to pursue. As interests bloom into passions, in concert with careful guidance by mentors and peers, our students and alumni alike interrogate what they want to do side-by-side who they want to be.
